Special instructions
Heat-sealing resistance depends on many factors; we therefore recommend testing under
actual working conditions.
• Suitability for finishing with hot-sealing foil must be tested in practice. It depends on the
printing stock and the type of foil.
• Resistance to the heat of the various materials used for tools (e.g. metal) must be tested in
practice.
• Not suitable for varnishing on both sides.
• If the contents of the pack (detergents, grease, etc.) have any effect on the packaging that is
likely to cause problems, its suitability should be examined accordingly.
• This varnish is likely to become sticky if the varnished surface is exposed to moisture (e.g.
when applying dispersion adhesive for lamination). For this reason, ACRYLAC 570 152/40 is
recommended for such applications.
• Under German food regulations, dispersion varnishes are suitable for the manufacture of food
packages when properly processed and used. Varnishes must not be in direct contact with
the packaged foodstuff. The basis for this statement is § 31, section 1 of these Regulations.
• Neither a statement of harmlessness nor an assurance under Recommendation 36 of the BGA
can override the provisions of § 31, section 1 of these Regulations.
• For general processing instructions and information about drying, please contact us.
• Dispersion varnish must always be protected from freezing during storage.
• Mix thoroughly before using.
