System Cleaner

System Cleaner is formulated for thorough cleaning of damping supply systems and damping units with circulating systems. It contains a combination of highly effective wetting and microbicidal agents. It removes ink residue and dirt caused by the growth of microbes. System Cleaner is recommended for non-contacting spray and centrifugal damping units as well as for contacting units.

Mode of application

Experience , particularly with large systems in newspaper plants, shows that the cleaning of damping circulating systems should, preferably, be included in the press maintenance program once or twice yearly.

Before use the System Cleaner should be diluted with water to a concentrate of 5 to 7 percent, depending on the degree of dirt accumulation. The cleaning solution has to be pumped through the damping supply system, including damping units, for two to three hours. Subsequently, the system has to be flushed twice to three times with water.

Its special properties are:

Highly active wetting agents dissolve contamination and persistent ink residue adhering to the walls of the pipe system.
Emulsifiers distribute the contamination finely and uniformly in the cleaning solution.
Strongly microbicidal agents destroy microbe contamination.
The pH is adjusted alkaline by System Cleaner.
System Cleaner does not effect metals nor plastics.

Special properties

Shake System Cleaner very well before use to homogenize the agent.

As with other chemicals we recommend to carry protective gloves and, eventually, eye preservers when using the concentrate.

Special characteristics

8080 09 for all damping systems.

The recommended dilution of the SYSTEM CLEANER 8080 series is 5 to 7%.
