RESISTA®-ECO 9500The particularly rub-resistant sheet-fed offset process inks based on renewable raw materials – mineral-oil-free.
The new generations of HIT process inks (HIT: HIGHLY IMPROVED TECHNOLOGY) from the HUBER-GRUPPE are manufactured in optimized production processes. The special constituents of the process inks are matched precisely to the individual stages in the manufacturing process. The wetting medium and the finely controlled dispersion conditions have been chosen so as to ensure that the ink pigments are coated completely and in a stable manner with binder; the binder components selected specifically for these pigments actively support this wetting process. Thanks to this fresh optimization of the "HIGHLY IMPROVED TECHNOLOGY" process, the printing characteristics of the HIT process inks have been greatly improved. The improvements in quality are to be found in areas such as the development of color intensity, gloss, rub resistance, flow behavior, damping solution tolerance, stability at high printing speeds and further processing. The HIT technology guarantees a high level of production reliability and the best print results. The RESISTA-ECO 9500 process inks constitute the preferred sheet-fed offset series if the best possible rub resistance is required. The RESISTA-ECO F series is a stay-fresh variant (F = stay-fresh; example: RESISTA-ECO-Yellow 41 F 9500). This formulation is predominantly suitable for coated stocks.
Special characteristics
Outstanding rub resistance.
Rapid absorption and very good stacking properties.
Good gloss.
Particularly intensive oxidative drying.
High damping solution tolerance.
Rapid adjustment of a stable ink/water balance.
Superbly suited for infrared radiation drying.
Ideally suitable for 8- and 10-colour presses.
Free of mineral oil.
Fields of application The RESISTA-ECO 9500 process inks offer the best possible rub resistance especially when processing matt-coated papers, different qualities of cardboard and uncoated papers. Their already very rapid oxidative drying characteristics are accelerated further by infrared radiation and guarantee excellent results even on less absorbent printing stocks and packages that are not post-finished. The RESISTA-ECO 9500 ink series stands out due to its high colour intensity and brilliancy. The pleasantly smooth, free-flowing consistency is particularly printer-friendly. Moreover, the system impresses through high dot definition and high-contrast finish.
Additives
Should it become necessary, under exceptional circumstances, to adapt the process inks to
special printing conditions, additives should be used which are compatible with the highly
developed binder system:
