COMBIFIX^® 8022 Series

Damping solution additive for sheet-fed offset.

COMBIFIX is intended as a standard product for all damping systems in sheet-fed offset. Its special properties are:

• Formation of a stable damping solution film.

• Specific adjustment of surface tension.

• Very good plate protection.

• No pollution of the damping units.

  Since it is not possible, despite the good buffer effect of COMBIFIX, to adjust and stabilize the pH-value of any type of tap water in the range between 5.0 and 5.3 considered most suitable for printing, two versions of COMBIFIX are available. In case of doubt as to which product should be used, we are offering the service of a free water analysis.

Special characteristics

• 8022 19 for water with a hydrogen carbonate content under 250 mg/lit.

• 8022 39 for water with a hydrogen carbonate content above 250 mg/lit.

• The recommended concentration for use of the COMBIFIX 8022 series is 4%.
